Tonight’s Night

Acclaimed up-and-coming Brizband The Tonights launched their debut album – and a new indie label Sun and Air – with an impressive bash at The Zoo last night.  The band’s first single is entitled Tiptoes.  Lead vocalist Eva Fritz is also a well-known Briz visual artist.  The Tonights consist of Eva, husband Christian Paul Sargeant (drums) and brother Henry Fritz (bass/guitars).  The self-titled debut album is quite a stunning first-off effort and bodes well for the future of The Tonights.  It was recorded at the Rockinghorse Studios in the Byron hinterland.  Both the band and new label are distributed through MGM.  A striking video has been produced by Judd Tilyard and Andrew Close and was shown on the night.
